The Role:
As their talent Manager, your role is to manage the day-to-day performance of the talent business, build client relationships, and oversee supervisory staff and spot models and talent. You will:
- Drive the development of the talent business, energize new client acquisition, grow existing business organically and manage client retention initiatives
- Manage the new business and active assignment pipelines, complete weekly WIPs, monthly reports and drive development and implementation of the annual talent Business and Marketing Plans
- Author and present proposals to clients and prospects
- Nurture vibrant client relationships, communicating regularly with quotes, creative executions, event tracking feedback and post event analysis
- Oversee the smooth execution of talent/modelling assignments, including management of the talent database and CRM, and ensure quality assurance via onsite supervision, talent briefing, trouble shooting and creative problem solving and conduct client satisfaction surveys
- Continuously scout for fresh talent for the internal talent database by selectively targeting events and exhibitions
Requirements :The Person
- Western expat or native English speaker preferred
- Mature, degree qualified with minimum 8 to 10 years experience in a modelling or entertainment/talent agency
- Minimum 12 months in the UAE market place
- Conversant with modelling, entertainment and talent industries
- Able to manage a team and deliver against critical deadlines across multiple assignments
- Advanced problem solving, able to analyse professional and physical venue environments and problem solve on a practical level
- Demonstrable leadership and negotiation skills
- Sound verbal and written English communication skills, Arabic a bonus
