Responsible for reviewing OVA (Clinical Incident Reporting System) into the database, referring PCI's (action) reporting of trends, analyzing of reports, and identifying any Sentinel Event.

Facilitating, maintaining the database, coordinating, analyzing and reporting on the Medication Safety program.
•
Developing, maintaining, analyzing and reporting with regard to Patient Medical Record Audits.
•
Facilitating the formation, analyzing and reporting of Clinical Pathways.
•
Attending Quality Improvement Committee meetings in assigned clinical area(s).
•
Reviewing, facilitating, and developing APP, IPP, Guidelines. Assisting in developing QI Plans.
Qualifications/Education Required:
•
Bachelor in Health Care profession, (i.e. Nursing, Pharmacy, Hospital Administration or other relevant discipline or equivalent)
Experience Required:
•
Minimum of four (4) years work experience of which at least two (2) years recent experience should be in Quality management activities in acute care facility or large ambulatory care environment.
•
Current knowledge of Quality management tools and techniques
•
Experience working in a personal computer environment
•
Effective interpersonal communication and teaching skills
•
Knowledge of JCIA standards
