The role also provides technical leadership and direction to the EPO regional manufacturing network (internal and external) and to cross functional teams supporting these sites.  This person works closely with the Divisional MS&T group to implement global product strategies at Manufacturing Sites (internal and external) and for the coordination of technical support for products outside of the divisionally coordinated work streams. Collaboration with multiple functions including Development, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain (Account Management and Business Development), and Quality Assurance within region and divisionally, is a pre-requisite.  CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Operations Project Lead for Technology Transfers in extenso; ASQ Qualifications; and Capacity Expansions. Drives continuous improvement projects, process and formulation improvements, analytical improvements (remediation, development and validation) and responds to technical issues resulting from quality, manufacturing, and / or regulatory to ensure product reliability and cost leadership. Provides technical leadership during L and A Due Diligence. Collaborates with Divisional MS&T for the execution of global product strategies within the region. Collaboration between MS&T APAC and MEAP and Emerging Market and India Technical Centre is pre-requisite to ensure necessary resource in place to provide technical support to both MEAP and APAC regions from this centralised technical support group. Collaborates with Divisional MS&T and DPD to scale up and launch new products through MAKE programs. Provides oversight and guidance of the technical functions at Manufacturing Site (internal and external). Serves as a leader for Operations and also provides coaching / mentoring for less experienced members within the manufacturing and technical network May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS: + years in the Pharmaceutical Industry with at least 5 years working in relevant support group is required. Leadership ability to manage remotely cross functional teams. People management experience is required. Experience in support of marketed products and formulation/process and/or analytical. Experience in support of new product introduction from scale up to commercial launch is preferred. Exhibits a thorough understanding of Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) management and long term planning skills. Financial planning and budgetary experience. Must be goal oriented, able to work within a team environment and self-motivated. Process and understanding of business needs and the ability to translate them into actions to meet timelines.
