Closely work with branches to develop and expand the bank's Consumer Banking business. Structure credit lines for corporates with an appropriate balance of risk /reward. Periodically evaluate the loan portfolio in order to recommend appropriate action if there is any deterioration in credit exposure. Establish an effective network of government and semi-government organizations, banking counterparts, law firms and auditors to develop market information and convert into new business opportunities. Compile reports, analysis, management information, and annual budget plans as and when required by Management. Assist with development and implementation of new Consumer Banking products. Represent the Bank in the community in order to promote its image, enhance its reputation and optimize business opportunities. Ensure to comply with the audit requirements, internal and external reporting obligations etc in line with the policy guidelines, to ensure high standards of uniformity and consistency across the Bank Person Specifications: Bachelor's Degree education. Formal training in banking would be an added advantage. 6-8 years of experience in Corporate banking with 3-4 years at fairly senior level with exposure to Corporate Banking in the UAE. Ideally incumbent should have had exposure to the emerging markets. Commercial acumen and ability to prepare plans and strategies are essential. The ability to forge close relationships with external constituents as a senior representative of the bank. Good command of English, Arabic language will be an added advantage.
