Leadership

Risk Management Activities
Direct the development and implementation of an integrated risk management framework in line with leading practices and CMA/KSE requirements across the company to meet regulatory requirements.
Direct the implementation of a clear statement of the companys overall risk appetite and return for risk expectations for the company in order to recommend it to the executive management and the board.
Review the Groups risk profile relative to the companys overall risk appetite and make recommendations to accept, reject or mitigate risk or amend the risk appetite to control the risk and/or improve the risk-return performance of the Group.
Review and approve amendments to the policies and procedures of risk to ensure consistency of practice and compliance with sector regulations.
Direct the establishment of risk rating system for the group, probability of default, risk aggregation and econometric models, and lead the conducting of stress/scenario analysis and portfolio management, and monitor the groups capital adequacy and other positions in accord with government regulations and the companys business strategies.
Oversee the design, development and implementation of appropriate systems and necessary models to calculate overall and specific risk exposure and their impact on the organizations capital.
Strengthen the partnership with business leaders to identify, assess, prioritize, and minimize key business risks through the implementation of contemporary risk management practices.
Direct the assessment of new portfolios, funds and other products and provide recommendations, and sign-off endorsement from risk perspective.
Oversee the assessment of the companys investment portfolio for concentration/ diversification needs against the established risk appetite.
Ensure the establishment of a culture of intelligent risk-taking; heighten awareness and use of advanced risk management practices through educational programs, training process and personal mentoring with senior executives, business unit management and general staff.
Compliance and AML activities
Direct the companys operations in order to be executed in accordance with Compliance and AML regulations and protect the interest of the group from non compliance penalties and reputational damage.
Direct the investigation of suspicious transactions in order to ensure that any activities of that kind are promptly reported and closely monitored.
Ensure that Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) are accurately prepared and timely addressed to management and correspondent regulatory authorities (CMA), and that the STR database is updated in order to strengthen the companys capabilities in combating suspicious transactions.
Direct the coordination with compliance function in order to ensure that CMA correspondences are streamlined and consistent.
Ensure that the company is abreast of the latest Compliance and AML regulations in order to promptly advise business lines on the need of updating policies and procedures accordingly.
Ensure that changes to Compliance and AML policies and procedures as well as laws and regulations are clearly communicated to affected parties within the company in order to strengthen compliance.
Internal Audit
Direct, develop and coordinate the Companys outsourced Internal Audit function
Review internal audit findings and recommendations for modifications and improvements to systems and procedures
Attend internal audit review meetings with the Audit committee and the CEO/COO
Direct and coordinate the Companys Internal Control Review ( ICR) Audit.
Provide assistance to ICR auditors as needed to review the Company's documentation and testing process and procedures.

Complaints
Oversee the activities of the Complaint cell to ensure that all complaints (client, counterparty, investor and internal) are duly recorded, resolved and reported to appropriate authorities
Resolve the complaints by co-ordinating for improvement of process and procedures, initiating new process to reduce the incidence.
Ensure maintenance of the centralized complaint management system at the company.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Plans and Operations Manager reports directly to the Director. Overall responsibility to plan, coordinate, and execute future and current operations as it pertains to the successful accomplishment of day to-day operational planning, and coordination of the supply, transportation and maintenance missions of the Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS-5), In Theater Support (ITM), and (APS-5 Kuwait) Program. He or she has responsibility for collecting data and packaging that data into products that can be used as knowledge. The Plans and Operations Manager must demonstrate exemplary management and leadership capabilities, especially in the areas of operational planning, collaboration, team building, talent development, and process improvement. Manages the operations cell daily tracking of the calendars, training, taskings and missions assigned. Interfaces with the customer on all operational requests and requirements pertaining to missions accomplishment. Develops performance standards, counsels the operations supervisor and specialist on a regular basis and makes in/formal performance appraisals. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: Please list by order of priority and, if possible, provide the percentage of time spent on the activity all should equal%. 1. Supervises personnel on a daily basis on Multi-Functional Logistics Operations in the areas of Supply, Maintenance and Transportation. 2. Tracks daily operations and mission support functions. Tracks daily summaries and support updates. Establishes mission battle rhythm updates and metrics to functional operations centers, program management and government. 3. Ensures the Plans and Operations staff is properly trained to perform mission analysis, including but not limited to workload analysis, analysis of real property resources available, skill sets available, impact to other assigned tasks, requirements for external coordination and determination of both specified and implied tasks required to complete and assignment. 4. Supervises the performance of detailed production planning to include, but not limited to, current and future workload levels, long estimated ship date parts, and impact to current mission and equipment sourcing solutions for direct theater support requirements. 5. Maintains situational awareness of logistics and maintenance activities at all operational nodes, including the status of operational, personnel and resource issues, including the glide path for the resolution of the issues. 6. Analyze reports, Surveillance guides, maintenance schedules and performance trends/ requirements. 7. Plans, reviews, and assists in the training programs for subordinates in the functional and operational areas. 8. Works within the Plans and Operations Division to coordinate set administration, automated systems support, planning, scheduling, and readiness reporting. Tracks progress and validates on time completion of various mission requirements. Provides timely, accurate, and relevant information to the Distribution leaders and the customer. 9. Responsible for developing and maintaining environmentally friendly programs that focus on continuous improvement using best practices. . Manages development, synchronization, manpower allocations, implementation, reporting and assessment of annual set sustainment plans, quarterly PMCS and annual Maintenance Services Schedules, TMDE Schedule, Inventory Cycle, Self-Life Management in accordance with policies and standards . Performs other duties as assigned. MATERIAL and EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Computers, Microsoft Office Suite, AWRDS, LMP, STAMIS Systems, other Vectrus and/or US Government computer based or web based automated systems, phone, hand held scanners. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work is generally conducted in a controlled office environment; however, duties will also involve work in shop, warehouse, motor park and or/ out-door storage area environments with exposure to climatic conditions. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may also be required in areas where exposure to hazardous materials or conditions could exist PPE will comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published company work rules. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Work will require lifting up to lbs, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting. Experience: Must have at least years experience working in the fields of Supply or Maintenance functional areas. Additional experience working in a military operations center is highly desirable (Army S3/S4).
