Role Summary
The role holder is required to Head Sales Operation of Tyre Segment, a substantial business with overall accountability for sales strategy, principal relationship management, order forecasting and achievement of targeted revenue within acceptable levels of risk The results are delivered through subordinate supervisorExecutives within the framework of corporate policies and top management guidance Senior level relationships interfaces with customers and internal support functions are critical The role holder is expected to optimally manage assigned resources and make decisions within delegated authority limits or recommend proposals for top management approval Significant business experience founded on relevant technical expertise and high levels of business etiquette and people related competencies are essential
Responsibilities
Contribute to the overall company business strategy and policy development and review processes for enhancing the quality of operations and standards of service across the company Implement the agreed Sales Strategies to sustain and grow the business profitably, short-term and long-term business goals
Create annual business plan implement business planning methodology within given authority
Lead, motivate and develop subordinates in order to achieve required levels of performance and competency Build a high performance sales culture to deliver maximum sales and exceed budgets
Develop market and customer segmentation and adapt strategies to meet segmented customer needs of each of the services
Identify business opportunities from the existing portfolio and recommend the future expansion strategy of productsserviceslocations that will generate increases in profitability
Improve operational cost efficiencies; manage annual sales to ensure the business revenue is increased across B2B and B2C segments
Analyzeassess operational process risks and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations to protect companys interests
Introduce and streamline best practiced processes and procedures to achieve continuous improvement, seamless operations, reduced costs and a customer relationship management culture
Develop and maintain relationships with principals and manufacturers, controlling negotiations with suppliers for products and parts
Select and develop a team of competent and motivated business and support staff, embedding a high performance sales culture to deliver targeted results and long-term objectives
Develop and implement clear KPIs to ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives as well as the development and engagement of staff
Develop an excellent relationship with suppliers, in order to ensure timely delivery of products at competitive prices;
Order forecast accurately to maintain optimum inventory
Prepare (monthly, quarterly, annual) sales performance report and submit to GM;
