Job DescriptionPurpose of the roleTo identify, encourage and assist with continued foreign direct investments in key priority sectors to the Kingdom of Bahrain To strengthen Bahrain s economy and competitiveness, under the supervision of the manager in UAEChosen candidate will be expected to operate from UAERole summary Ability to generate high-quality leads Understand Bahrain preposition and be able to articulate it clearly, effectively and lead to project creation Ability to make our proposition relevant to targeted companies expansion plans Full ownership and understanding of hisher geography, and able to convey areas that would yield quickest and best scenarios of success Ability to focus on sub-sector potential, identify and approach investors and companies to convert to projects Be able to develop a relationship with hisher own stakeholders (investors, multipliers, Bahrain Ambassador) Implements department related projects and ensures alignment with relevant internalexternal stakeholders Coordinates and assists with the strategy to achieve ultimate goals of KPI to attract maximum investment from the region Attracts new inward high-quality investment from companies in EDB s priority sectors to meet countries FDI targets Develops strong relationships with priority sector groups regionally in order to promote Bahrain as an attractive investment location Coordinates and identifies leads, and participate in marketing, pitching, and selling Coordinates and identifies seminars, conferences and other opportunities where Bahrain s investment opportunity can be presented to companies and business influencers Undertakes special assignments tasks as and when may be required Keeps close contact with businesses at the local level to ensure satisfaction with Bahraini operations Assists in problem solving, and helps identify potential new value propositions Provides market updates and key developments of the economy in the geography of the office Liaises with the Bahrain Embassy and Consulates Develops a strong pipeline of investment prospects for Bahrain Encourages potential investors to visit Bahrain, by keeping continuous contact, monitoring and responding to their current requirements, and providing them with current information about Bahrain Follows up on project proposals with EDB Bahrain Coordinates VIP visits to the region Manages international Public Relations Maintains and manages investor relationship Develops new investment value proposition
