A ) Power Plant Operator Qualifications-Bachelor of Science (BS) or HND or Associate Diploma in mechanical Electrical instrumentation EngineeringExperience-1) Minimum 8 years of operation experience in a Gas based combined cycle power plant preferably with GE Gas Turbines2) Added advantage of plant Utilities (compressed air system, gas compressor system, fire pumps & fire system, RO Plants3) Added advantage of working in Control room for large scale power station (above 1000 MW)4) Fluent EnglishJob Responsibilities-1) To perform all operations associated with Power operations, including permit to work isolation, low voltage switching and isolation and technical operational troubleshooting2) Assists the Shift charge engineer in the assigned shift in carrying out the operational activities at control rooms and in the field, assists in fault-finding and failure analyses and contributes to the optimisation of plant performance3) Ensuring safe, secure and efficient operation during starting up, operating and shutting down conditions at all times4) Monitors plant layout mimic and update as required5) Evaluates plant emergencies and take appropriate action6) Prepare and follow Operational Procedures, standing instructions and Safety Rules7) Monitor and analysis Plant parameters and advise correction action8) Maintain high standard level of operation quality documents9) Achieve and support management to fulfil department safety objective10) Assure the plant Routines is performed on time with professional manner11) Day to day Task given by Shift Charge Engineer
