2 To assist the business lines in setting their service level agreements & lead the updating of policies, processes, procedures to address & rectify operational & quality issues

Strategic Contribution
In conjunction with the head of Business Excellence, formulateprovide inputs & lead the implementation of the business excellence strategy in line with the companys vision, mission & corporate objectives
People Management
Manage the effective achievement of the Business Process Re-engineering objectives through the leadership of the Business Process Re-Engineering team & the setting of individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, developing & motivating staff, provision of formal & informal feedback & appraisal - in order to maximise subordinate performance
Organisation Structure
Recommend an optimum organisation structure in coordination with Organizational Effectiveness & Strategic Manpower Planning for the Business Process Re-engineering so that resources are optimally utilised & communication can take place in an efficient manner

Budgets & Plans
Recommend the Business Process Re-Engineering budget & monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified & potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon
Business Process Re-engineering
Lead the provision of Business Process Engineering support to the business lines & support functions in developing updating policies, process, procedures & Service Level Agreements in line with bank-wide standards in order to address any identified issues by the Service Quality
Manage the review of issues identified by Service Quality & direct the development of corrective actions in coordination with business lines & process owners (jointly with Service Quality) to modifyimprove processes, policies & procedures
Manages the development of integrated process maps that would align various processes in order to identify any over laps & avoid such occurrences in the future
Ensure working closely with Service Quality to monitor the implementation of corrective actions by concerned parties
Recommend quality management standards to be implemented & followed through the company & ensure aligning the processes with the international standards
Continuous Improvement
Motivate subordinates & contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes & practices taking into account international leading practice, improvement of business processes, cost reduction & productivity improvement
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures & instructions to subordinates & monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
Related Assignments
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed

Key decisions having significant impact on the BPR are referred to the Head of Business Excellence for approval before implementation
The jobholder exercises financial & operational authority as per the level established by the companys management & stipulated in the authority matrix
