Role Objective
Lead the Human Resources Department which is responsible for attracting, retaining, developing and motivating a committed workforce through the implementation of best-in-class HR practices
Main Responsibilities
1 Establish annual departmental goals and objectives to define how COMPANY HR activities will contribute to the achievement of COMPANY vision, mission and strategy
2 Provide input into the development and allocation of the annual budget for the HR Department based on approved upon departmental activities; solicit advice from the Financial Affairs Director for the purposes of the departmental budget
3 Develop relevant policies and procedures pertaining to the HR Department; ensure compliance to departmental policies and procedures by all department staff
4 Assist COMPANY management in fostering a company culture which promotes and rewards high performing individuals

1 Establish best-in-class HR practices at COMPANY and ensure the same are implemented in alignment to regulations stipulated by the local labour law
2 Collaborate with COMPANY management to analyze and determine COMPANYs immediate and long-term manpower requirements from an operational and strategic perspective; ensure that the approved upon manpower plan is adhered to
3 Ensure that appropriate employee recruitment and selection methods are employed to allow COMPANY to identify, attract and retain best in class employees
4 Initiate annual compensation surveys to ensure that COMPANY compensation practices are competitive with regards to market compensation practices
5 Oversee the implementation of an effective grievance policy which seeks to address and resolve employee grievances efficiently and on a timely basis
6 Ensure that that the companys performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis as per policies and procedures; assist the Moderation Committee in moderating performance appraisals
7 Assist COMPANY management in establishing training and development plans and initiatives that seek to further enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of COMPANY employees; evaluate implemented training and development initiatives to ensure their success at contributing to greater employee performance
8 Ensure that COMPANY career management process seeks to enrich the career paths of high performing employees through providing opportunities for employee transfers between COMPANY and its centers
9 Oversee the preparation of HR related documentation (eg employment contracts, employment offer letters, termination letters, salary certificates, salary continuation certificates, promotion letters, increment letters, warning letters etc); review documentation to ensure their accuracy
10 Oversee the maintenance of all personnel related information on COMPANY employees (eg employment contracts, performance appraisals, absence records etc) ensuring their effective maintenance in personal employee files
11 Identify and manage relationships with entities such as recruitment agencies, training institutes etc which can add value to COMPANY people practices
12 Initiate and lead periodic customer satisfaction surveys to identify critical areas of improvement for the HR Department in terms of its people practices

13 Oversee the production of periodic and annual budget reports to highlight utilization against assigned budgets in an accurate and timely manner; ensure that budget reports are submitted to the Directorate of Financial Affairs as and when required
14 Collaborate with management from COMPANY centers to identify how COMPANY can support its centers through its HR practices, ie, recruitment, compensation alignment
15 Remain abreast on international trends and developments in the field of HR to ensure that COMPANY remains up to date with developments in best in class people practices
