To supervise efficient production of food as per recipe cards, good in taste, consistently high inquality, keeping safe food practices in mind Efficient running of the section as per set standards Supervises production of food in Confectionery kitchen Supervises weekly schedule for kitchen staff Develops daily food preparation and production list of tasks to be performed by kitchen staff Determines food needs and quantities based upon daily usage and menus planned for events Tracksinventory levels for the section Places requisitions of food Provides input and suggestions to menus Maintains standards of sanitation, kitchen hygiene, and food service techniques and safety Practicing safe work practices on the job as per HACCP guidelines Minimize operating costs by using all raw materials, equipment and products in accordance withCompany’s guideline Comply with all Company and Unit procedures regarding wastage Produce all products in accordance with Brand standards relating to portion control andpreparation, cooking and storage methodsProvides direction to wait staff as necessary regarding menu selections, set up etc and performsadditional functions incidental to maintaining kitchen area
