Monitor the daily performance of the areas allocated to him and highlight any deficiencies noted
Coordinate with all parties concerned for the proper and timely correction of all deficiencies noted
Establish an effective and efficient system to constantly review quality of work performed in his areas of responsibility
Constantly review and recommend if necessary, update of Policies and Procedures as set forth in the Exposition to incorporate changes in Regulatory and Company requirements
Administer the Company Authorizations System Vet- issue- extend- renew Certifying Staff and Pilot authorizations and arrange board exams as applicable based on MOE authorization requirements Also review applications for LWTR and follow up with DGCAR for issue-renewal
Specify test - calibration procedures and limits for all test and calibration equipment
Administer the sentencing and accomplishment of Modifications and Inspections related to his area of responsibility
Document preparation for issue- renewal of company held approvals of Customer Airlines and regulatory authorities Assist in Line Maintenance Contractors -MROs for initial issue and subsequent renewal of DGCAR approvals
Associating with Customer Airline- Authority- Corporate Audits on Engineering facilities and follow up with concerned departments until closure of audit report
Carry out Internal Audits, Random Audits, External Audits, Product Audits and Spot audits as per Audit Schedule approved by CTO-SMQA Also carry out Corrective action on SAFA Audit findings on engineering and follow up until closure
Carry out Company Capability extension evaluation and follow up with DGCAR for approval as required until it is amended in MOE
Carry out investigation based on AOR-ASR and report DGCAR through SDR if reportable to authority and make recommendations to prevent reoccurrences
Control and maintain SELCAL, MODE-S and ELTs codes and also monitor ADs-SBs-EOs-SWIs, Frames, ECTM and follow up EOs for DGCAR Approvals
Attending various meetings like MEL Committee, Mod Committee meetings, HSE meeting etc
Undertake any other tasks related to Quality Assurance function as and when directed by SMQA or MQA or AMQA
Engineering Degree preferably in Aeronautical Mechanical Electrical Electronic from a recognized Institute with 2 years of relevant experience in an airline maintenance environment specifically handling Quality Assurance functions Experience in the Aviation Regulatory authority functions
Or Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license with 4 years of relevant experience in an airline in the area of Quality Assurance Functions Experience in the Aviation Regulatory authority functions
