We are looking for Vessel Lead
Job Purpose
In support of the Installation Manager and the Installation Lead, The NFPS I1P1 Vessel Lead is responsible for implementing the planning, the preparation and execution of all aspects of the Transport and Installation components of the Project from load out through final installation offshore, ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded
The position is both an office position during all documentation preparation and engineering phase, and a site execution position during mobilisation, operations and demobilisation
The Vessel Lead will be the Company Site Representative onboard the various offshore vessels, and as such will bear the responsibility for the offshore operations related to the transportation and installation works Station on the main installation vessel (DB, DSV) is the base case while station on secondary vessels (Survey, FTV, etc) may be required
The Vessel Lead is also the main focal point to the installation Management team and interface for all aspects related to the preparatory and operational activities related to offshore operations
Capitalising on his experience, the Vessel Lead shall also be involved in the installation engineering to ensure that the installability of the design is consistent with established industry processes
Effective issue resolution through interfacing with both Company and Contractor teams is an essential component of the role to ensure full alignment on the execution of the Project through to Startup
Key Job Accountabilities
1 Key contributor to the delivery of all Transport and Installation scope based on Contractor installation vessels and barges for the NFPS I1P1 Project in accordance with agreed schedule and budget
2 Review and approval of installation procedures, and possible involvement in the review of installation related engineering for offshoresubsea assets such as subsea pipelines and Cables, crossings, corrective freespan structures, jacket, decktopside, flare and bridges, load out, transport and installations and others, as required,
3 Review Contractor lifting and rigging analysis,
4 Review, validate, approve, write technical project documents, as required;
5 Liaise with Contractor Project Teams and Vessels ManagementCrews to obtain input data, agree in installation feasibility and support its Company Management team in Contractor installation activities reviews,
6 Liaise with CompanyContractor project teams to clarify installation procedures concerns
7 Collaborate to develop and constantly improve tools and internal processes for installation methods activities,
8 Manage Contractor vesselsCBs mobilizations as well as installation phases on vessel in order to validate technical solutions by respecting the rules of the Group HSEQ
9 Be Company Site Representative on Contractor Offshore Vessels for offshore installation activities,
10 Maintain close liaison with appropriate members of PMT (Business, Interface Engineering, Quality, and Safety) and gain alignment with the PMT on project execution plans, needs, objectives, and requirements
11 Be the accountable person for the safety, health, environment and security for all aspects of the execution of the work scope on the offshore vessels and barges
12 Monitor and flag the installation activites, to consolidate the delivery of quality assets compliant the project requirements
13 Ensure proper gathering andor development of data (narrative, charts, graphs, etc) during the execution of scope of installation and report it to Installation PMT for the daily, weekly and monthly progress reporting and stewardship
14 Flag and monitor the Contractor execution timing of the workscope, to ensure it remains in accordance with the approved project execution schedule
15 Liaise with engineering operations teams to ensure that the Contractor Installation scope and its impact on Operations is minimized and aligned
16 Flag and monitor the MOC process for all aspects of the Project execution related to the Load out, Transport and Installation scope from the Procedure development to completion of the installation SOW
17 Responsible for being knowledgeable of lessons learned from previous projects with the same contractor and capturing and communicating execution lessons learned for the current project
18 Liaise with Installation manager and Installation Lead to highlight when PMT, Vessel Management Team or other technical support is available to address gaps
19 Monitor and contribute to the execution schedule for all activities related to Transport and Offshore Installation including critical milestones, participates in the development of, and stewards recoverycontingency plans to address any schedule delays
20 Interfaces with Contractor and internalexternal Company parties to coordinate, align and agree on interface agreements and execution plans related to Transport and Installation
1 Able to produce or interprete supporting technical docmentation associated to the Project Installation
2 Interface with COMPANYCONTRACTOR installation engineering personnel, ensuring the installation engineering input are captured within the project design and relevant installation procedures
3 Manage execution phases according to project requirements at constructions sites onshore and offshore
4 Interface with CONTRACTORs installation specialists to ensure COMPANY requirements are incorporated in installation documents in accordance with project technical requirements
5 As a team player you will be constantly reliable day in and day out, providing consistent quality work You will be working and follow through on tasks with the team members with transparency and not working in isolation
Knowledge andor Experience
Strong organizational, leading, and technical judgment skills
Good engineering coordination leading skills, preferably in installation activities
Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
Prepare contingency plans for the unexpected (pro-active, forward-looking)
Proactively and continuously grow technical expertise in EPC execution disciplines
Strong influencing, and interpersonal skills, team player
Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes, etc
Willing and able to travel to foreign locations and offshore for extended periods as required
