Job SummaryThis is a customer facing sales job , the required candidate should be able to sell & promote PSS products and solutions (DCS & RAS) , he should posses technical and sales background He will be reporting to area manager and should align with the area goals and targetsJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Account Manager to track and grow the business opportunities of the Systems and Solutions (SYSS) Group in a specific Account The effective candidate is skilled in managing diverse pursuits and associated teams from a distance He has a strategic mindset , Excellent abilities in relationship management, effective team collaboration, growth planning, results-driven are also essential for the roleThe ultimate goal is to ensure our Group meets and exceeds the financial and business objectives out of the concerned territoryJob ResponsibilitiesMeet or exceed territory s financial and business assigned goalsDrive the sales efforts of the SYSS group in the respective territoryDevelop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to a) understand their key business drivers, b) align these business drivers with Emerson, c) ensure their awareness about Emerson Automation Solutions capabilitiesDevelop and implement sales strategies for projects Maintain an accurate project pursuit list and provide monthly reports and forecasts to divisional Sales Managers using Emerson toolsWork closely with proposal generation group to ensure all offers reflect customer needs, are competitively customized, priced, and are submitted on timeImprove customer satisfaction by finding and delivering solutions to their needsTake a pro-active role in working with the Emerson Global Project Pursuit Team and local Western Project pursuit manager to identify, qualify and pursue control system projects to achieve order conversion and maximize the potential for all Emerson Automation Solution s products and servicesWork closely with other Emerson Automation Solution groups and maximize pull-through contentProfile accounts and establish a clear understanding of business drivers and process control requirementsSupport divisional sales & business development initiatives in the nominated customer accountDeal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions
