Background InformationThe Corporate sector hold a number of opportunities for Pearson in Saudi Arabia, especially with the recent focus on employability and the launch of Pearson ProfessionalPast years have been an encouraging start in exploring the corporate sector with English, vocational, and short coursesPurposeBusiness Development to enable direct Sales of Pearson ProductsServices and Solutions to the corporate sector as well as developing relationship with agencies and industry bodies that might influences our sales into the corporate market in KSAThe Business Development Manager identifies, develops and manages client relationships in KSA with the purpose of achieving financial targets and developing, maintaining and expanding relationships with strategic customersThe Business Development Manager represents Pearson s range of corporate products and services while ensuring assigned customers needs and expectations are metKey AccountabilitiesOwn the KSA target for the Corporate sector sales achieving target with the support of product experts (Short courses, Assessment, English, etc)Gain high level understanding of Governments priorities and initiatives for employability in the Kingdom and the impact on corporatesAssess the corporate sector needs in term of English and training specially in the wake of increased Saudization in private sectorSupport the solution team in building the Corporate holistic solution by sharing market insightsSupport the Head of Corporate in Building and maintaining a 1 and 3 years strategic and operational plan for corporates in KSA covering performance objectives, milestones, market, competition, segments, products and go to marketCoordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers expectationsEstablishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts and proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basisReport and track Corporate sales by account and by productEnsure full usage of CRM tool, data coverage and mapping of key contacts, companies and products for all accountsKey ChallengesNew strong focus of Pearson strategy and hence large expectations and time pressureGrowing visibility of Pearson in the Corporate EcosystemGrowing existing relations with the Corporate sectorQualificationsCompetenciesEssentialEntrepreneurial spirit, creative and very proactiveHighly motivated and independent workerTarget and performance drivenVery good Command of English LanguageStrong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) and demonstrated ability to manage professional relationships across a variety of stakeholder groupsProven ability to sell and negotiateStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while sticking to deadlinesAbility to work in dependently and generate outcomesStrong relations across Government bodies, and corporate sectorStrong persuasive and influencing skillsUnderstanding of corporate sector decision making and purchasingAbility to work in matrix organization involving several international stakeholdersDesirableExcellent track record of institutional selling to Corporates, ideally in training and learningExperience in training delivery is strongly preferredKnowledge and understanding of trends in Corporate LearningKnowledge of Arabic languageExperience in training deliveryEducation, Qualifications & TrainingEssential BSc or BA from a reputable UniversityDesirable MBA from a reputable universityPrevious ExperienceEssential 5 years Institutional Sales experienceDesirable Management consulting experienceIT LiteracyEssential Excellent knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerpointDesirable Salesforce or any CRM tools
