The Position Account Manage, Channel Manage, Product Strategise and sell IT systems (or products) and services to external organisations Productsservices could have been developed in&house andor productised through collaboration between various teams within Mercator and the Group While generating sales for revenue and profit for the Group, the secondary focus will be to enhance the image of Dubai as a centre of information Technology excellence Analyse, forecast and establish sales targets and revenue forecasts for the geographical region of the Middle East and Africa, using the product portfolio, marketing and sales plans, and market intelligence available Develop and manage, via an assigned cost centre, the expenditure budget of the region to ensure that cost of sales, cost of development, and cost of support is managed within the budgeted amount, with the net result that the region shows positive cash flow Manage sales channels for the region based on productservice type and potential market Number of channels to be limited with the focus on quality and ability to deliver sales to Mercator Direct and manage ongoing customer relationships to ensure total customer satisfaction with Mercator, and further develop business based on opportunities identified at the customer site Salary & Benefits We offer an attractive tax&free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE

Experience and Qualifications Post Graduate Diploma (12+4 or equivalent) A range of professional courses particularly related to selling skills, communication skills, presentation skills, negotiating skills and other sales related skills. Experience in the Commercial Aviation IT industry is highly desired and an expert level of knowledge is required for specifically assigned region, where product functionality and business environment must be strategically matched. Sales & marketing experience in an IT solutions selling environment, or senior management position with a focus on defining and delivering solutions. Expertise in selling a range of IT products and services is essential. End to end management of a sales channel is vital. This includes experience in account management, selling, product strategising and channel management. In depth knowledge of available Airline/Airport products/solutions and their commercial position in the market for allocated region. Clear understanding of business processes within Airlines relating to products/services is essential.
