? Benchmark and update costing models and the relevant tools used for feasibility studies and pricing exercises, in order to remain competitive, in line with global market trends and technological advancements
? Provide on-going assistance and support by contributing to the definition of market and pricing strategy for assigned transport segments by conducting strategic analysis including competitive landscape assessments, emerging trends identification, etc
? Provide support in identifying and communicating relevant insights relevant to existing and potential customer bases, by performing strategic assessments to leverage both primary and secondary research
? Manage business case development for customer-specific, based on in-depth analysis of user needs
? Recommend price targets and ranges based on the outputs of the performed strategic analysis of various cost-to-serve scenarios andor an assessment of the customers willingness-to-pay and conduct relevant financial analysis to identify long-term impact on balance sheet and PL
? Develop internal and external pricing proposals based on internal analysis, customer analysis and general feedback received and participate in key internal and external meetings related to rail costing, customer pricing and strategic planning
? Partner with relevant internal staff resources across the organization to develop and deliver all approved pricing & product requirements and continuously review the work of subordinates to ensure accuracy of information
? Develop and maintain relationships with customers and or other partners as required to identify the current (ie, non-rail) supply chain state and define future state rail product requirements through the assessment of strategic considerations such as customer switching costs and potential competitive retaliation
