Identify areas for process/ system improvements, standardise procedures and act as an interface between the Finance department and all commercial/ operational departments across the Group. This would involve managing the conceptualisation, design and implementation of balanced solutions, both for Finance and the business by taking into account the risks involved and the controls required, implementation of financial procedures/process improvements and training users on new procedures/processes. Define and establish benchmarks/ standards, against which the processes are measured.
- Manage and maintain the Approval Authorities Manuals for the Group and its subsidiaries and associates to ensure that the manual remains a relevant and key source of approval authorities for the relevant entity. A balance between flexibility and control has to be struck given the growth of the Group. The job holder will be required to assess the necessity of providing different levels of authority, identify risks and ensure they are managed and offer alternatives where applicable.
- Manage and maintain the Financial Procedures Manual for HO and Outstations Finance departments of the Group and its Subsidiaries and Associates taking 'best practice' into consideration - to ensure that it is the reference and guide for all financial procedures to be followed by the Finance department across the Group and its Subsidiaries and Associates.

Follow up the standard Department duties such as daily attendance, monthly attendance reports generated on xl sheets, etc
Ensuring the holiday planner provided beginning of each year by Departments, has no overlapping in vacations of employees covering each other duties. Processing the planned & other types of staff leave applications and ensure that all related xl sheets are updated.
Assist and answers questions and inquiries from other Departments across the bank in person and over the phone or through email.
Initial screening of CVs for the junior vacancies.
Perform any additional HR related tasks (such as medical inquires, etc..) as well as Administration activities, as required (such as follow-up on contracts, etc.)

Job Outline:

Review the finance organisation structure of each station on an annual basis, or as required and participate in the recruitment of finance staff at Outstations of the region if required. The jobholder is accountable for the support of all regional FAMs at Outstations and for the selection, training and development of local non managerial Finance staff, so that all Outstation Finance related functions are performed as per the corporate objectives and guidelines.
Coordinate and if necessary, conduct training and on the job guidance to FAMs and Outstation Finance staff on the use of efficient processes, automate where possible, accounting system to improve their knowledge and/ or enhance the productivity of the local finance unit.
Monitor the proper managerial finance coverage at all Outstations of the region and ensure that respective alternative coverage is in place if required, to guarantee that all local and HQ financial requirements are met.
