Job Description

1.     Lead new IT initiatives /projects related to supply chain and related business functions within the DWTC. 2.     Configure the Oracle Applications to meet business requirements anddocument application set-ups. 3.     Write business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, dataconversions and application extensions. 4.     Handle support tickets pertaining to supply chain management modules in Oracle in compliance with support SLA 5.     Interact with the vendor project team members responsible for developingreports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions. 6.     Define testing scenarios and develop test scripts 7.     Identify functionality gaps and develop solutions to them 8.     Support business with the execution of test scripts. 9.      Develop end-user documentation and training materials. 10.   Deliver end-user training 11.  Study and document the current business processes and MIS requirements for  the entire range of Finance, Procurement and Inventory management function with primary skill set in financial processes 12.  Design and document business processes data flow diagrams by functional area including opportunities for improvement. 13.  Prepares functional requirements and specifications for any systems related to the above process areas Primarily the job holder would successfully map and translate business requirements into serviceable Oracle application functionality. Exercises creativity and independent judgement and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and very complex business solutions utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet business requirements predominantly around HRMS, Payroll, Self Service, Performance Management and OTL modules. As a position of technical and professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology. Recommends, justifies and leads the delivery of the internal enhancements / customization to Oracle products to meet complex business needs. Proven track record of employing proven business methodologies including calculating Return On Investment, Total Cost of Ownership, project management, quality management, business process re-engineering and customer relationship management would be essential. He/She should possess Project Management skills including Analysis and Requirements Definition, Concept Definition using UML, RFI and RFP Process ownership, Vendor Research and Management, Resource Management/Guide and Mentor team members, Costing and Budget Management, People management, SDLC methodology, Good communication and interpersonal skills.
