Job Description

We are currently looking for an Area Manager - Skincare Cosmetics to join our Retail business unit


As an Area Manager based in UAE, you will be responsible for managing a geographical group of stores; maximising their financial performance and minimising the risk to the companys assets by effective and timely enforcement of company policies and procedures The position holder would also lead, train and motivate all store managers and staff to excel in retail presentation and customer service thus enhancing customer loyalty and brand value


Principal Accountabilities


Financial Management


Manage day to day activities of a number of stores to maximise the sales and minimise operational costs by ensuring most efficient use of staff company assets Use all available resources to achieve highest possible full price sales of product Feedback on product issues and competitor activity to the merchandise or brand manager for appropriate central action



People Management


Identify training needs and instigatepropose remedies to anticipate and counter any gaps in knowledge and selling service skills of store managers and staff Identify and develop store staff to become capable of store management,


Customer Service Management


Lead, train and coach store staff to achieve the highest possible store standards of presentation and customer service, enhancing the companys reputation and market appeal by word of mouth and generating loyal repeat customers



Communication Management


Communicate effectively with all store staff, enforcing the companys policies and procedures are adhered to or where possible to take feedback analyze and propose more efficient ways of conducting business to the operations or General Manager


Communicate to and from HO any and all information that is needed to operate those stores on a daily basis


Compliance


Verify company procedures are being fulfilled and take appropriate training or disciplinary action as required


Control the expenditure of the store teams on overtime, sundries, store damaged goodstesters, staff uniforms and administration (eg transportbanking) costs to minimise the operational costs of those stores and thereby maximise store profits
