Job Summary

The Associate Media Director helps on managing the development and implementation of clients media strategy and executes response-based media plans. She /he balances strategic and insight skills with a willingness to be hands-on in planning and buying. The Associate Media Director will be validating the teams work and helping the Media Director on achieving the KPIs

Main Responsibilities

- Build, develop and maintain advantageous relationships with publishers and advertising networks.
- Create strategic collaboration, efficient problem-solving and increased visibility.
- Manage solid client relationships; Focus on client retention and satisfaction, growth and renewal.
- Manage and introduce new business responsibilities; identify potential client and negotiate with them new contracts.
- Provide strategic direction and buying strategies for offline media campaigns.
- Understand and adopt new techniques and technologies that are relevant for clients media strategies.
- Recommend, negotiate, and schedule the media placements and creative elements appropriate to the client's budget and objectives.
- Manage the flow of client media-related issues and create solutions for unresolved issues.
- Identify up-sell opportunities to drive additional revenue beyond original contracted amount.
- Assist and provide support and media expertise in new business pitches.

Quality control

- Oversee development, implementation and success of all media plans.
- Assess and monitor performance versus original plan, and implement adjustments.
- Organize multi focus KPI' to be maintained at project level.
- Tailor incentives on KPI's records.
- Validate project proposal prior submission to client.
- Review progress reports prior to submission.
- Financial Management.
- Oversee preparation of annual budget, billing structure, regular variance statements and annual audit.
- Prudently manage the organization's resources within budget guidelines.
- Provide prompt, thorough, and accurate information to keep management appropriately informed of the organizations financial position.
- Follow up on Receivables and Payments.
- Organize regular industry benchmarks and surveys.
- Man Management
- Understand and communicate the organizations priorities to ensure teams alignment with Groups objectives.
- Articulate departmental view on customer segmentation, channel strategy, media strategy (traditional and interactive) tactics and execution and ensure that strategies are in alignment with the objectives.
- Supervise assigned personnel (e.g. screening, interviewing, recommending, training, evaluating, etc.) for the purpose of enhancing productivity of staff, and ensuring that department outcomes are achieved.
- Oversee workload of department for the purpose of maximizing the efficiency of the work force and meeting operational requirements.
- Ensure proper induction of new employees.
- Responsible for conducting periodic performance appraisal to all assigned staff, and for growth, development, engagement and motivation, coaching and guiding of the departments employees.


Requirements

- Min 5-7 years of experience in media planning.
- Deep knowledge in client servicing.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on and multi-task person.
- Confident, presentable and reliable.
- Has ownership of the accounts
