About the Company Established Catering and Patisserie company in the Gulf part of company operating in multiple sectors Patisserie boutique stores and catering company handling sizable functions to small intimate gatherings2 outlets in Bahrain and Central Kitchen with team of 200 staffWhat you will do Report to the COO and Exec Chef ( dotted line) Oversee boutique patisserie outlets and catering operations in Bahrain Based in Bahrain Arabic speaking Supports the Company s business strategies in Bahrain to meet its business growth and sustain profitability Ensures that all financial targets are met with regards to Revenue Cost Control and Profit and Debtor Management Prepared MIS as directed by Operations Director and Finance Department Manages the catering services for guests and ensures the Company s Standard Operating Policies and Policies are adhered to regarding approved products specifications, quality,timely delivery, food hygiene standards and financial targets Maintains guest satisfaction as per agreed targets Ensures all staff complies with the local statutory and legal requirements for Health and Safety, Fire, Licensing and Food Handling Ensures all staff is aware of, and working in accordance with, the Company s HACCP standards set by the HACCP Manager, and approved standards Is responsible for the daily operations to ensure quality and standards are maintained Builds healthy relationships with guests to ensure brand loyalty networks vigorously within Bahrain to meet new and established guests and thus grow the guest base Assists in marketing campaigns as directed by Operations Director Ensures all departments operate within agreed budgets and that they achieve agreed salestargets Devises and implements systems for reviewing all operating costs to ensure that they areconsistently in line with focused revenue in conjunction with the Finance Department andproducts reports as required on effectiveness Establish Guest Satisfaction Surveys and disseminates information received to ensure that any negative issues are addressed and solutions put in place to resolve them, thus constantly developing standards and products in line with guests needs and Brand value Ensures the operation is run in compliance with all legal requirments Ensures the Company s HR Policies and Procedures are followed within the SBU soperations Monitors the Banqueting and Food & Miscellaneous Stores on a periodic basis Trains and acts as a mentor for staff encourages career progression and training asrequired in conjunction with HR Head Office Conducts staff appraisals and agrees on objectives for all direct reports on a bi-annual basiswith guidelines from HO HR Department Ensures manning is at the optimum level required and assists in recruitment as needed Ensures quality products are used at all times and that they are stored safely as perCompany s standards Acts as Operations Director, in his absence Any other tasks as assigned by Operations DirectorWhat you need 3 years similar senior operations management experience with established patisserie and catering company GCC experience a must Degree or diploma in related field ie hospitality, logistics, supply chain management, finance ect English a must Arabic a plus Food safety and quality controls experienceWhat you get Package negotiable - guideline of 1800- 2000 BHD Housing and transport allowance in package 30 days annual paid vacation Medical Insurance Annual vacation flights Family package
