Job Description

Teacher Evaluation
_Design and approval of all teacher evaluation schemes
_Assessing teachers overall job performance against classroom, department, and school obligations as per the approved teachers job description.
_Class assessment visits with formal scoring two times per semester for each teacher and 3 times for new teachers.
_Developmental classroom visits with no formal scoring.
Teacher Training and Development
_Design overall teacher training and development program.
_Tailor teacher training and development program to meet local needs.
_Ensure that teachers understand course syllabi and material including the approach and methodology used in each textbook series.
_Ensure that teachers understand the department formative and summative assessment procedures.
_Ensure that teachers understand the department curriculum.
Department Planning and Implementation
_Supervise the implementation of all aspects of the approved department guide.
_Designing supervision plan that matches departments objectives and vision.
_Assigning classes to teachers.
_Placing teachers and students in classes / levels through the school database system.
_Preparing & designing periodic analysis reports for the department.
_Nominate subordinate department support positions.
_Assign certain duties to the teachers, explaining how those duties are to be done. Daily Operations and Auditing
_Provide formal periodic reports and feedback on the program as requested by Higher Management.
_Ensuring that all students are placed in the correct classes in the database.
_Supervising worksheets.
_Supervising tests building.
_Following up tests correcting and scores recording.
_Following up students records.
_Following up teachers records.
_
Student Assessment
_Ensuring all teachers understand and correctly implement the student evaluation system according to department policy.
_Ensuring that all grades are placed in the system by the teachers on time and correctly.
_Analyzing the overall performance of students during each monthly period and identifying areas of weakness and strength.
_Attending meetings with the higher management to make the grades analysis presentation once every semester. General Duties
_Ensuring all relevant paperwork is provided to the needed parties.
_Reports and action researches.
_Following rules and codes adopted by the school, encouraging teachers to do so.
_Participating in analyzing and solving daily problems.
_Participating in school meetings.
