Job Description

1 Job Purpose
Under the general supervision of the Technical engineer, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the condition, monitoring and maintenance activities of all owned, leased and managed assets, including tanks, pipelines, truck filling system, marine loading system, fire fighting system etc, of ATTL are carried out as per the PM and ensure reliability and efficiency of the equipment installed and operational

3 Principal Accountabilities

1 Assisting Maintenance Engineer for developing updating of all procedures and work instruction for maintaining entire assets in line with corporate HTL guide line and IMS requirement
2 Constantly reviewing all maintenance work instructions and making amendments fine tuning and realignment them in accordance to meet with HTL guide lines
3 Establishing updating preventive maintenance program PMP for ensuring safety, reliability and efficiency of all assets installed and operational including tools and equipment
4 Where possible organize break down maintenance activities through inhouse supervision and technicians or through outsource contracts as well, subject to the approval of Maintenance Engineer or on behalf
5 Ensuring that preventive activities are carried out as per the approved plan and in lined with SOP and IMS guidelines program
6 Supervise maintenance work, staff and contractors to ensure quality is achieved and maintained
7 Assessing maintenance requirements and compiling to develop Scope of work for outsource contracts
8 Endorsing records of all work carried out to meet the requirements of procedures and IMS
9 Keeping a close follow up on all internal and external audit and update to Maintenance Engineer and reports, timely feedbacks on action plan, implementation and close out
10 Keeping a close track on all employees training records, and imparting, planning in-house training programmes, and keeping the training up to date
11 Ensuring all maintenance work is done in full compliance with approved ATTL PTW EHS standards
12 Support Maintenance Engineer on in house and external outsource projects including per- commissioning and commissioning activities
13 Undertaking other responsibilities that may be delegated by the management from time to time
14 Comply Implement the IMS Policy
15 Follow all EHS Instructions, setting an example to others
4 Minimum Requirements

1 Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DAE)
2 Minimum 5 years experience in supervision of maintenance construction activities of petroleum petrochemical terminals, plants or refineries for graduate engineers At least 8 years of experience in the case of Diploma holders
3 Familiarity with relevant API, ASME, ASTM, NFPA standards
4 Familiarity with ATTL HTL EHSQ procedures and guidelines and other applicable statutory regulations related to work
5 Effective communication skills
5 Note
Regardless of a communication media (phone, email, or message verbal written) the job holder is responsible to attend office 247 when if he is called for an emergency situation by the CCR

During absence of a Maintenance Engineer job holder will act as Maintenance Engineer and will lead the team on behalf and will practice ME DOA
