The Director of Marketing is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, overseeing and evaluating the strategy and operations of the Marketing corporate office. The candidate will direct the daily activities of the Office of Marketing in support of an integrated marketing communications plan to achieve maximum impact with relevant stakeholders. The candidate will use innovative marketing strategies to contribute to the attainment of all the institutes objectives under the corporate level, including, but not limited to, enrollment, branding, relationship building, etc.
Essential Job Functions
Develop and implement a full-fledge marketing and branding campaign
Implement marketing campaigns to support the recruitment of trainees, faculty and employees
Evaluate the success of the marketing and branding initiatives employed by the organization
Supervise marketing initiatives to promote a consistent, professional branding image
Plan special events that support the institutes operations like recruitment campaigns, conferences, seminars etc
Reinforce institute messages across all media and to all audiences
Develop, design, and write print and electronic collateral materials to assert the institute strength and objectives
Manages the development of the website and its content
Bachelors degree in related field required, masters degree preferred.
Minimum six years senior management level experience in strategic marketing
Working experience in a tertiary educational institution, especially in the education and training in vocational and technical studies.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in written and oral form in English
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, employees and the general public
Proven Management experience with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with trainees, employees and the community.
Ability to manage a budget
Proven ability to work in a culturally diverse context, especially supervising senior employees of different nationalities
Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
