Job Description

New Installation SupervisorRole Summary Responsible for supervising the installation process and ensuring that the necessary measures to guarantee the installation targets are in place & adhered toDuties & Responsibility Principal activitiesSupervise Lead and Motivate teams of Installation Fitters and HelpersLiaise with NI manager on a daily basis, to ensure any issues are raised, discussed and overcome as required Direct, Check and ensure Schindler Safe Working practices are followed and adhered to at all times Report any failing to Safety Officer and NI Manager Also monitor and ensure correct PPE is worn by all staff at all times, be a Role model by wearing Schindler Uniform and Correct PPE at all times Conduct monthly Safety Walks and Team Meetings with all FitterHelpers To discuss any issues they may have in an open forumTake all necessary action immediately, in The Reporting of all Accidents or Incidents Regarding Persons and or Lifts and Lift Equipment Scheduling of planned Installations and Labour requirements to ensure best geographical area to maintain minimum travel time to sitesMonitor & Review installation Progress to ensure program is adhered toArrange meeting with Site managers to ensure site in ready for Schindler to commence workAttend regular meetings with site managers to ensure Client and Schindler are on track, before and during our presence on siteCarry out at least 2 equipment audits per week to determine that the quality of installation is being delivered for the benefit of the client and to Schindler standards Review outstanding work load with the NI Manager on a weekly basis to ensure accurate scheduling and timely completion of all new installations Review and approve all Fitters and Helpers time sheets for accuracy Respond to customer client’s enquiries or complaints in a Professional Manner and visit clients and or sites to ensure Customer Satisfaction Contact and regularly update customers when sites are shut down for power supply or parts etc Establish and maintain business relationships with customers to ensure quality service is delivered at all times Ensure all sites are in are in accordance with Schindler approved layout drawings and specifications and Safety barriers are in place , Scaffolding is correctly installed etc ensuring that all Safety Measures are in place and Report all failings At the start of all projects ensure that all layout drawings, car drawings and samples have been approved by clientProvide coaching, ensure training is given as required and check training course availability and give feedback to FitterHelpers to enable them to progressResponsible for improving efficiencies, monitor and discuss with NI Manager Branch Manager Assist with Labour and Material shortages Assist with collections on overdue accounts when required, also collect all approved invoices from site Manager in a timely mannerManage and update equipment data base to ensure accurate information is recordedResponsible for ensuring phases 1 to 9 of each lift installation are completed on time and to Schindler requirementsEnsure SAIS Engineers, Commissioning Engineers are notified in a timely when as to when they are required on sitesResponsible for carrying out handover procedure on sites when elevatorsescalators have been commissioned SAIS checked are 100% complete EI supervisor s MUST be on site for this process, (inform them in advance) Ensuring that all appropriate technical documents, drawings and certificates are in order and supplied to EI departmentComputer skills will be requiredWrite and send letters to clients as required Highlighting deficiencies and unapproved deviations on site that become apparent when Schindler are on site, copy to NI ManagerWrite and keep a Daily weekly report of site activities problems encountered by siteEnsure that all Schindler employees adhere to correct SAFE working practices when on site With respect to all Schindler Clients materials, also that the work area (Motor room, shaft, pit and entrances) are kept clean and tidy to enhance safety, at all timesAs a representative of Schindler you must act in a Professional manner at all timesMaintenance SupervisorRole Summary Responsible for the management of a group of Service Maintenance Technicians Engineers in all aspects to meet Branch targets of his area of responsibilityDuties & Responsibility Principal activitiesSupervise, Lead and Motivate teams of Maintenance Technicians, Call back technicians, Field Engineers, Repair Engineers and HelpersLiaise with EI Manager on a daily basis, to ensure any issues are raised, discussed and overcome as requiredDirect, Check and ensure Schindler Safe Working practices are followed and adhered to at all times Report any failing to Safety Officer and EI Manager Also monitor and ensure correct PPE is worn by all staff at all times and be a role model by wearing Schindler Uniform and Correct PPE at all times Conduct monthly Safety Walks and Team Meetings with all Technicians Engineers and Helpers To discuss any issues they may have in an open forumTake all necessary action immediately, in The Reporting of all Accidents or Incidents Regarding Persons and or Lifts and Lift Equipment Scheduling of planned preventative maintenance and maintain routes to ensure best geographical area to maintain minimum travel time between sites Monitor & review calls backs weekly and ensure that technicians are compliant with call back codes (SCS) ABC Ensure that MTBC reporting is accurate and up to date Take effective action to reduce the number of CALL BACKS to coincide or better than the Schindler NormMonitor and take corrective action to reduce the number of sick unitsIf parts are required to a liftescalator ensure that an accurate quotation is sent to Client as soon as possible and also chase the Client for the order to allow the lift escalator to be repaired in a timely manner Carry out at least 2 equipment audits per week to determine that the quality of maintenance is being delivered for the benefit to the client and to Saudi Elevator Review outstanding repair permits with the Repair Supervisor to ensure accurate scheduling and completion of all repairs Review and approve all time sheets for accuracy Respond to Customer enquiries or complaints in a Professional Manner and visit Clients and sites to ensure Customer Satisfaction Contact and regularly update customers when units are shut down for repairs or parts Establish and maintain business relationships with customers to ensure quality service is delivered at all times Provide coaching, ensure training is given as required and check course availability and give feedback to technicians engineers Responsible for improving efficiencies, monitor & discuss with Service Manager Branch ManagerResponsible for assigning and completing Field Information corrective actions when requiredAssist with labour and material estimates for parts repair sales orders as required to ensure Safe and Continuous lift usage Be pro&active in the conversion of Free Maintenance units to maintenance contract Assist with collections on overdue accounts when required in a timely mannerManage and update equipment data base to ensure accurate information is recorded Responsible for performing acceptance inspection on sites when elevatorsescalators are handed over from the new installation department to the maintenance department Ensure that all appropriate technical documents and certificates are received Ensure all technicians engineers complete a report sheet for each elevator serviced identifying any and all items that require attentionSome computer skills will be requiredAs a
