harmonious relations with the stakeholders, clients, and the design consultants The major objectives of the project team under the overall leadership of the Project Manager include client relations, project costs, project schedule, project quality, labor relations not within the control of the project team and the productive effort required to meet specific project requirements and contractual obligationsDeveloping projects goals, objectives, policies and procedures, standards, planning and organizing the delivery of programs and services; developing project budgets; providing expert and professional assistance to management in the areas of expertise and fostering cooperative working relationshipsThe Project Manager provides leadership in connection with overall project matters and strategy He may be responsible for managing one or more projects However, the designated Project Manager retains overall accountability for relationship management and Client satisfaction on the projectTASKS & RESPONSIBILITIESMajor responsibilities includeSTRATEGICResponsible for the smooth execution of projects providing utmost satisfaction to all the customers and ensures their requirements are adequately metResponsible for contract administration, cost control, staff development and training, time management, quality assurance and control, procurement, communication health & safety and environmental performance throughout the project life cycleOPERATIONALCoordinating on-site with corporate office activitiesOrganizing and overseeing jobsite administration, and coordinate field supervisionAssisting in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliersDeveloping, monitoring, updating, and communicating the progress schedule and its periodic revisionsManaging the direct labor force and maintaining labor relationsManaging subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination with other trades, and paymentsCoordinating cost-progress targets with productionCreating and maintaining a safesecure jobsite environmentIdentifying and resolving all changesEstablishing and maintaining relationships with the client and other concerned partiesContract Administration Contract Correspondence End of Time (EOT), variations and change ordersManaging QAQC for smooth submittal, inspection and quality control processCoordinating with Planning Engineer daily, weekly and monthly progress reportsMonitoring Actual Progress against Planned Progress, planning a Recovery Schedule in case of any delayExpediting vendor estimates and proposals and preparing appropriate company estimates and proposals for changes to be submitted to the OwnerDetermining appropriateness and preparing subcontractor change orders to be processed through Contracts ManagerReviewing all vendor schedules of values and preparing the general schedule for values as coordinated with the Contracts ManagerEvaluating subcontractor payment requisition relative to actual work performedParticipating in scope reviews of the various bid packages to properly coordinate their respective interfaces and ensure that nothing is either left out or bought twiceCoordinating the procurement process and assuring prompt delivery of materialsCoordinating with Cost Engineers for the approval of supplierssub contractors Certificate of PaymentManaging shop drawings approval and design processManaging the Site office employees, attendance,performance and work cultureOTHER TASKS AS ASSIGNEDResponsibilities include other duties as assigned, including special tasks involved in responding during urgent REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree (from an accredited school) with a major in project or construction management or business administration or related;LICENSE(S) ANDOR CERTIFICATION(S) REQUIREDEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (Amount and Type)Must have at least ten (10) years overall experience as Project Manager in a leading construction company, with a minimum of eight (8) years managerial experienceShould have expertiseexperience in multiple components of organization finance and operations such as budget preparation, fiscal management, financial controls, human resources, information technology, contract administration facilities administration, andor materials managementCOMPUTER PROFICIENCY (Be specific as to the amount and type of software andor hardware knowledge required and the proficiency level of skills required, ie, basic, intermediate, or advanced)Skilled at using software package (including WORD, EXCEL, Powerpoint) for financial analysis and presentationExperience with financial databases preferredSPECIAL SKILLS ANDOR ABILITIESMethods, practices, equipment and supplies used in the building trades, laws and regulations relating to construction, basic principles of program finances and budgetingComprehensive knowledge of Project Management procedures and practicesExcellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, situational negotiation and conflict management skillAbility to supervise and direct assigned staff includingmonitoring and evaluating work performance, interviewing and hiring staff, conducting training and development, establishing work priorities and scheduling job tasksAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and work demands;Excellent team player, with strong client and results orientation, ability to work in multicultural environment but also independently and with minimum supervisionExcellent written and verbal English language communication skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (if any)The PM may be required to work long hours during urgent working situation
