Job Description

ReceptionistJob Location DammamSalary Negotiable based on qualifications (to be discussed in an interview)Responsibilities Responsible for the efficient functioning of the flow of patients through the clinics Reports to the office manager and head receptionist Arranging veterinary appointments Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude and announcing clients as well Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients at the time of their arrival and in finding their way around the office and advice to the client on the export of animals Responds to non-medical questions or needs, as is able, and refers client concerns to the office manager or veterinarian, as necessary Answeringreceiving client phone calls in a professional manner Forwarding, screening and routing or triaging calls as necessary Maintains files of medical records for all registered animals provides the file to the veterinarian at the time of consultation or surgery Initiates invoicing and receive payments Selling over the counter products including food and providing advice to clients thereon Assisting colleagues with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes and making travel plans Provides relief coverage for other staff members as required Helping maintains workplace security by issuing, checking and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs Prepares district office and clinic for receipt of clients during scheduled clinic hours Be well-acquainted (familiar) and adhere to the applicable standard of American Animal Hospital Club in a professional manner Performs additional duties as assigned by the Office Manager andor the VeterinariansRequirements Age 23-40 years old Education Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma Short Course Certificate (with High School Diploma is an advantage) Experience Experience in customer service, general office operations, the handling of money, scheduling and computer operations Good communication skills (English proficiency is a must) Capacity to work well during distressing situations Ability to work well with the general public in a friendly and courteous manner Excellent written and verbal communication skills Fluency in oral and written English Associates or bachelors degree in a related field Consistent, professional dress and manner Good time management skills Basic arithmetic skills Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as requiredInterested candidate can apply with your updated resume
