*Kempinski Hotel MuscatLocated in the modern community of Al Mouj, Muscat, and encompassing over six kilometers of stunning coastline, Kempinski Hotel Muscat is an unparalleled luxury beach resort in the capital of Oman The hotel features 310 comfortable rooms and suites, state-of-the-art meetings and events facilities, a business center and an executive lounge Ten world-class restaurants and bars provide a remarkable dining experience Two swimming pools and a kids pool, a kids club and a tennis court, along with various outdoor and water sports activities will ensure to spend an exciting and adventurous time The hotel leisure facilities also feature a luxurious spa and a fully equipped health clubSales Manager Groups & EventsAchieving hotel targets by optimizing revenues through an assigned account base, as well as prospecting new clients in assigned markets Assigned markets may change according to hotel needs The key measurement of performance will be performance versus the Revenue goalsKey ResponsibilitiesThe Hotel achieves its Financial ObjectivesThe Sales Team that the person works with achieves their Revenue ObjectivesThe person achieves their Personal ObjectivesThe TTTT is carried out to the satisfaction of both the Director of Sales Director of Sales & MarketingResponsible for key account management on an assigned account base or geographic area, ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets and increasing fair market share versus competitor setResponsible for prospecting new accountsResponsible for all segments of assigned geographical markets, which may include, but not be exclusively limited to European marketsConduct site inspectionsAdhere to the Corporate SOP sFollow up of tentative bookings in the assigned marketsDetailed knowledge of competitor setDetailed knowledge of all services provided by the Hotel and all relevant facts and figures of hotelResponsible for timely contracting from the client base responsible forSMART contracting to ensure optimum yielding during annual rate negotiationsAttend trade shows, sales blitz, workshops, etc in the assigned marketsAssist the Director of Sales Director of Sales & Marketing in defining an annual sales action plan and execute set actions accordinglyAssist the Director of Sales Director of Sales & Marketing with the preparation of the annual budget by providing statistics and forecasts of account productionsExecute sales actions within set cost budget structureDocument all sales actions in SFA (S&C)Update OPERA contact database at all timesCross sell other Kempinski Hotels Understand, and follow the Company Sales VisionParticipation in Duty Manager rotaUnderstand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & SafetyEnsure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately
