Integration, test and support of OSNs set top boxes software. Ensure that software components such as drivers, middleware and applications (Electronic Program Guides and Video on Demand) are well integrated to the platform using best Quality Assurance practices to ensure timely service delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify bugs and own resolution of the issue, tracking and escalating as appropriate.
Write test scenarios to ensure software is tested for conformance to specifications using best Quality Assurance practices to ensure timely service delivery.
Develop suitable test tools and applications to ensure robust software is deployed.
Maintain the application automatic test environment in the Lab, ensuring the test systems reflect the live environment.
Ensure that full support documentation is created and handed over to the front line Technology Support team to enable them to perform 1st and 2nd line support effectively.
Provide 3rd line support for the monitoring, identification, fault diagnosis and resolution of software-related problems.
Maintain the Bug tracking system.
