Job Description

Sr. Asset Manager – Jeddah, KSA   We are a global leader in Integrated Facilities Management with many years of experience within the GCC region and the capability to provide a very high standard of service for all of our clients in our wide and varied portfolio. We deliver bespoke packages and solutions to Facilities Management, dealing with both hard and soft services and utilising our highly skilled, extensive workforce we continue to set a precedent in FM of excellent standards and key deliverables. RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for a Senior Manager within the Asset Management team. This prestigious position will have a key role in management of one of our largest developments in the Western Province and is a world renowned facility for education and development. The responsibilities of the position are as follows: Implementation of best practice in Asset Management, working with the client giving advice and guidance Planning and coordinating the available resources including the EFS operational team and the F&C unit Meeting financial budgetary requirements and achieving agreed KPIs as per SLAs in place. Abiding by all company policies. Provide strong leadership and management over planning, condition appraisals and all aspects of asset management Utilization and implementation of overall asset management place, property & asset tagging and registration; tenancy and lease records, maintenance and repair records as well as records of acquisition and disposal records as well as depreciation, life cycle costing and replacement analysis. Coordinate between the operational department and the client to provide a customer focussed service with zero downtime of critical systems, and minimal disruption to tenants and facility users. Assist the client and the finance department to hit budgetary requirements, if not coming in under budget, as well as benchmarking costs on a rolling basis. The ideal candidate needs to find a balance between performance and cost that will allow the service to continue to operate in a cost effective way, and to increase the productivity of the unit. Be responsible for identifying, quantifying and agreeing contract variations. Reporting contract costs as well as tracking and controlling spending and budgets in relation to the budgetary constraints identified within the department. In terms of people management, we need a senior member of staff to mentor and develop the current employees as well as implementing SAP and ERP systems throughout the operation Fully utilize the EFS Information Management System and action this throughout the department Guide and develop use of the SAP modules provided (CRM, MM, PM and RE)                                                                                                      Experience, education and other requirements: The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in the industry, with at least 7 years in a similar managerial position We are looking for a candidate with accreditation with a recognised industry relevant association body – e.g. the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Building, the Institute of Asset Management The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors in one of the following: Building Surveying, Asset Management, Property Maintenance Surveying, Quantity Surveying Post-graduate study is desirable e.g. Masters PhD level in a related subject Experience of SAP and large asset management system development is ideal Must have excellent communication skills and experience in a client facing management role Must have experience of contracts management and program management The candidate must currently hold a Saudi passport and must be a Saudi national due to Saudization policies with our client. ON OFFER: Senior management position with one of the largest and most reputable companies in the region The role will be based in Jeddah and would suit a current resident Remuneration is excellent - dependent on experience and ranging from SAR28k-32k month total package
