Job Description

Division In-Patient Nursing Div Position Description Saudi Aramcos Nursing Department seeks an experienced Senior Supervisor for the Medical Surgical Section of the In-Patient Division. In general all work is performed during normal working hours, however you will maintain 24 hour accountability for your section, and are expected to respond to any unusual situations. Minimum Requirements Successful candidate will hold a current license as a professional nurse with BSN and Masters Degree preferred, preferably in Nursing Administration or Health Care Administration. (Please note either Bachelors or Masters must be in Nursing). You will require a thorough knowledge of Medical Surgical conditions. You must have 15 years clinical nursing experience, with five years progressive senior management experience. It is paramount that you have experience of working in a multicultural environment. Duties & Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following. Performs all duties of a Supervising Nurse. You will be required to have a thorough and current knowledge of strategic planning and development. You will manage fiscal resources and resource allocation. You will have a thorough understanding of research and evidence based practice and will be knowledgeable in the management of change, quality improvement and risk management. You must have thorough, current experience in budgeting, finance, and calculating for staffing needs. Your professional experience will include demonstrated competency in clinical management, leadership skills and operational decision making. You will provide clinical direction and leadership for your nursing team, directing and managing nursing activities.
