We are currently seeking an experienced Static Equipment Engineer for the Jazan Refinery & Terminal Projects (JZR&T) in Saudi Arabia. This position will be responsible for ensuring the design of JZR&T equipment is held to the highest standards of reliability and operation, and incorporates the latest industry technologies and lessons learned. Minimum Requirements The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 9 years of experience in the Static Equipment field covering design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, failure modes, problems, and troubleshooting. Specifically, the candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of practical experience dealing with industry codes, such as API and ASME piping and vessels codes, and thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods and design details is critical. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate own group to work with other departments and teams to meet JZR&T objectives. Communicate with all operation foremen to report all static equipment faults in their plants. Assist area engineers on long-term problems or projects when needed. Follow-up on the progress of bad actor program and assist area engineers with clearing overdue equipment. Review and update the maintenance strategy annually to optimize equipment maintenance tasks. Organize and lead Preventive Maintenance optimization teams. Assist when needed in investigating trips on critical or major equipment and recommend solutions. Identify new technologies and techniques to assist the organization in shifting from a preventive mode into a proactive mode. Review engineering request packages for any static equipment modifications or upgrades. Establish with the group the methods to be used in gathering consistent and reliable data. Coordinate with other technical organizations within Saudi Aramco or outside the company to share, learn and give support in different reliability programs. Reporting, consisting of the following indices: Major equipment failures, vibration analysis and trending, Project Management statistics and overdue tracking, bad actor status update, re-work index, current month out of service equipment, and life maintenance cost index. Review equipment repair procedures and work scopes in coordination with the workshops.
