Job Description

Job Summary

The Analyst for Application Development and Design is responsible for development of desktop and mobile applications, graphics, media, animations and 3D models for various solutions including Patient Kiosk, Patient Education and Mobile Applications with Augmented Reality and Location Awareness.

Key Role Activities:

Development of mobile and desktop solutions based on the design given by the solution owner. Develops code for desktop and mobile applications using available development tool sets, architectures and frameworks. Develops media, 2D 3D graphics, animations and models to embed into mobile and desktop solutions. Assists in the gathering of key functional and non-functional requirements from all stakeholders. Assists in the presentation of designs and product demonstrations of solutions under development to key stakeholders and management. Ensures required materials for test scripting, test data and test execution are completed. Ensures required project documentation is complete. Participates in Agile delivery cycle for assigned products. Provides support and guidance to other project team members. Establishes positive relationships with business customers and provides recommendations to improve process efficiencies. Adheres to hospital s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.

EDUCATION: Bachelor s Degree in related field.


Essential: 3+ years experience in the development of Android or iOS applications. 2+ years experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript. 1+ years experience in the development of PhoneGap, Apache Cordova, Sencha Touch, or Ionic. 1+ years experience developing Kiosk and or Queuing solutions. 2+ years experience in creating media, animations, 2D and 3D models using tools such as Blender or Autodesk. Demonstrated experience in gathering and maintaining product requirements from technical and business representatives. 3+ years experience in development of .Net in the development of desktop and or kiosk applications.

Preferred: 2+ years experience in a healthcare environment. 3+ years experience developing solutions that integrates with Cerner Millennium. Experience in working in an innovation or product development role. 3+ years software development experience working in one or more of the following areas; Systems Integration, Patient Kiosk, Patient Experience, Application Development for Patients. Strong programming skills in C++ and Java. Development experience in Bluetooth Low Energy.

Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work and navigate in a complex organization. Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Fluency in written and spoken English

Preferred: Fluency in both conversational and written Arabic.
