Job Description

Key Function

Coordinate import activities and ensure that customs and boarder related issues are solved through a proper coordination between suppliers, transporters, local authorities, internal staff
Domestic distribution and tracking of Outward & Inward shipments [Between Businesses, Dealers, Suppliers, end-Customers, etc]
Courier receipts & distribution to final Customer Courier dispatches & follows up of the same till delivery
Support the other team and business activities as and when required


Duties & Responsibilities

Follow-up all import shipments on a very dedicated manner and resolve issues if any on urgency basis The shipments to reach warehouse in a time bound manner that enables supply chain and marketing teams to meet the distributions requirement without any operational delay
Responsible for the domestic distribution, shipping and tracking of shipments for the region and as and when required for other regions also
Functions include Logistics & shipping arrangements, Archiving, inward & outward Courier coordination
Perform courier dispatch requirements based on Job cards created by the call center Follow up the shipments till the required item delivered to the customer
Coordinate with Shipping & Courier Companies, Transporters, Suppliers, Dealers, Direct Sales staff, Warehouse & inventory
To be balanced on cost effectiveness and customer expectation on delivery requirements
Keep perfect filing system for each and every activity performed
Other tasks entrusted by the management from time to time
