Purpose Mission
To meet and exceed sales targets of the multiple stores within area of responsibility with particular emphasis on coaching and inspiring teams to meet commercial goals and build Retail equity thereby, increasing the sq meter performance
Key tasks
Functional
Meeting or exceeding sales targets for all stores within area of responsibility
Leading and inspiring store teams to meet or exceed commercial goals and building Brand equity, both during store visits and from a distance to lead the brand and products expertise for your area
Actively monitors customer satisfaction and feedback systems to drive continuous service improvement
Ensuring proper controls and loss prevention standards are followed
Effectively completing store visits and use the visits to develop and follow up on practical and achievable action plans
Display improvement focus and best practice sharing attitude at all times
Personnel
To lead the recruitment, on boarding, training and development efforts in hisher stores, actively managing the succession planning process and ensuring all HR policies and procedures are adhered to
To create a high performance culture at the store by setting clear expectations and targets, analyzing stores performances, holding store managers accountable and giving appropriate and prompt feedback
Enabling store managers to run smooth operations ensuring all corporate programs, policies, procedures, initiatives and strategies are consistently implemented
Controlling
to measure progress on own KPIs
to report to all superiors along MIS guidelines
to monitor and analyse reports and targets
to monitor and report on local retail market trends and competitors
to benchmark the service, key conceptsthemes and products offered by local competitors
