Job Description

With the main focus on the companys MS Dynamics AX application environment (incl MS SQL database, MS FRx Designer and Report Writer, MS Dynamics AX SSAS cubes BI), participate in technical and functional as well as development activities Also, engage in other platform applications

Effectively and efficiently cooperate with the IT Business Solutions Manager and the IT Infrastructure Manager, work with end-users, and coordinate with application tool vendors
- Participate in the delivery of new IT projects and develop new reports by correctly analyzing,gathering and documenting business requirements and information needs; performing gap analysis; identifying and agreeing configurations, parameterizations and customizations; recognizing, prioritizing, planning and carrying out development implementation efforts
- Lead full cycle system and integration test activities (from acceptance test planning and scenario envisioning, to execution and valid bugs issue management)
- Perform routine administration and maintenance tasks of the companys application environment including modifications and enhancements installation, configuration, monitoring; performance tuning and optimization; ensuring SQL Server security and database activity monitoring; executeperform rights administration; application of patches, hot fixes, upgrades and updates
- Provide support to end-users on all areas related to the companys application environment, including interface and operating environment assistance, issue resolution, remote user administration, release support, training and hand-holding
Escalate with application tool vendors as and when required
