Responsible for overall management and control of operations, ensuring efficiency, maintaining high standard of food quality and service, and working towards achieving the set business targets;
Manages the day-to-day activities of the company to ensure that the requirements for health, safety, sanitation and hygiene levels in respective areas are met;
Develops and ensures the implementation of operational policies, procedures and processes;
Identifies areas of improvement to maintain systems and operating procedures that support the delivery of required catering services This includes the application of best practices in the industry that promotes an efficient and safe business operations;
Contributes to the development of P & L and monitors it in a periodic basis; Builds action plans for improving profitability and performance;
Maintains the catering plan, including a comprehensive event planning service to clients; Sees to it that company resources are properly utilized, and services are delivered according to the established timelines;
Recruits and maintains sufficient skilled staff across departments to meet the needs of the services required to achieve customer satisfaction; Carries out functional induction, on-job and internal training, ensuring all staff receive the necessary training and skills to achieve high standards of service;
Establishes and monitors operational performance KPIs and provides feed-back across departments within the scope of responsibility;
Plans by prioritizing customer, employee and organizational requirements
Leverages support functions (ie Finance, Legal, HR, et) in order to develop and assist with the business growth needs
