Purpose of Job
Performs a variety of duties to support shipping department and freight forwarder to assure on-time shipments Creates shipping documentation, bills-of-lading, etc Arranges transportation schedules with carriers Process improvement
- Makes inquiries quotations for shipments
- Oversees the shipping and distribution of products ensuring the relevant documentation is completed
- Coordinates and tracksshipments with freight forwarders, suppliers, clients and customs
- Raises correspondence with suppliers clients forwarders
- Releases shipments after obtaining clearance approval
- Prepares shipping documentations
- Familiar with Kuwait customs clearance process
- Checks out the invoices for payments
