Job Purpose
The van salesman is responsible for sales of lubricants to trade (puncture shops), thus achieving the set business plan goals
and sales targets, and ensuring timely and high quality information flow between customers and the company
Key Accountabilities
Achieving monthly sales and gross profit target
Assessing customer requirements, marketing our current products and identifying new product & selling opportunities
Collecting outstanding amounts within agreed credit period
Developing and maintaining customer database
Adding new customers in the assigned territories to his portfolio
Visiting customers regularly to advise them of new products
Monitoring and reporting the market information and competitor activities
Handling sales promotions and securing additional business
Communicating effectively with customers, agents and the team
Reporting to Sales Supervisor
