Job Description

Sales Manager will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Aitken Spence Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations

Sales Manager is responsible to maximize sales and achieve pre-determined targets, working closely with Rooms, Food and Beverage and other revenue-generating departments

Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must

Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented Coordinate various departments participation in servicing accounts

Travel locally & nationally to conduct outside sales calls, attend industry events Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts

Conduct property site visits and answer questions

Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost business for the hotel

Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals

Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts
Conduct telephone prospect calling, Negotiate and execute Contracts that are fair and profitable
Experience in gulf with valid OmanMiddle East driving license preferred
