Mandarin Oriental Hotel GroupMandarin Oriental Hotel Group is the award winning owner and operator of some of the most luxurious hotels, resorts and residences located in prime destinations around the worldIncreasingly recognized for creating some of the world s most sought-after properties, the Group provides 21st century luxury with oriental charm Above all, Mandarin Oriental is renowned for creating unique hotels through distinctive design and a strong sense of place, luxury hotels right for their time and placeMandarin Oriental, DohaMandarin Oriental, Doha is an intimate and stylish urban retreat, blending Qatari-influenced heritage with modern design Located in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha, within walking distance to Souq Waqif, Museum of Islamic Art and a short distance to the business district, West BayAt Mandarin Oriental, Doha we welcome colleagues with the passion to deliver the best service and exceed our guest s expectationsMain Responsibilities Monitor server and network system performance Assist guests with IT related issues and ensure all guest complaints are investigated and proper action taken to rectify Create and maintain systems users ID Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for any application and hardware related issues Upkeep filing, document control, and equipment tracking to prevent loss of existing IT assets Ensure IT Daily task are carried out and completed Assisting with the delivery, installation, operation and retrieval of audiovisual equipment for daily meetings and firm events in the Hotel in accordance with the daily conference room schedule and just-in-time requests Assisting with the coordination of AV support for firm events held at public facilities, which may include interaction with vendors and colleagues Assisting with the implementation of new technologies, equipment, and network services related to IT Assisting with identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving AV equipment and connectivity issues Assisting with maintaining a thorough inventory of AV equipment and supplies, and monitoring the repair and replacement of non-working, damaged andor obsolete equipment Interacting with partners, attorneys, support colleague, office administrators, and guests, and providing individual instruction in equipment setup and operation when neededRequirements Specific Degree or Diploma in relevant areas is plus Minimum 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment Technical related experience Excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills Problem solving Ability to work with multicultural teamIf you are interested in joining our team apply today!
