Job Description

1 Effectively manage daily operation of the outlet2 Ensure that inside and outside areas of the outlet are kept clean, tidy and organized3 Ensure that the display areas are clean and well organized4 Ensure that all items are displayed according to type, size, color, etc and packed accordingly5 Report to maintenance coordinator at the Head Office any maintenance or repairs required in the outlet6 Ensure that deliveries are received complete and prepared for display promptly and efficiently controlling the store inventory and ensuring the maintenance of the standards of goods7 Coordinate with Merchandisers for repetitive overstock items & their display8 Coordinate with Operations Manager to increase decrease deliveries of certain categories9 Ensure that the area of the cash register is kept clean and organized10 Ensure smooth transactions in the cash register and without cash discrepancies 11 Deposit cash sales as required to the bank and prepare reports for the same For any discrepancies, to immediately report inform Accounts Department of the same12 Ensure that the stock room is well maintained, clean and organized 13 Ensure that appropriate number and variety of items are placed on display14 Plan overtime work to complete certain tasks during closing hours Request support of Merchandisers and or Operations Team if needed15 Ensure that team members are well informed of the security procedure in the outlet and the action to be taken when required16 Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining quality and standards of the outlet17 Ensure that customers are satisfied and served with utmost respect Handle customers complaints effectively 18 Process merchandise returns and exchanges as per the policies of the company19 Control ordering purchasing shop supplies Include receipts in the Sales Report prepared for Accounts20 Report & coordinate with the Operations Manager any issues encountered and suggest solutions Ensure that all issues, if not completely sorted out, to be minimized in order not to affect the operation of the outlet21 Ensure that the team members are performing their duties effectively & efficiently22 Ensure that staff is punctual and consistent Report to HR Department any staff frequently tardy and absent 23 Schedule staff rosters enabling the proper distribution of manpower within the outlet for smooth running of the operation24 Ensure that the budgeted manpower is maintained in the outlet and request replacement for resigned staff 25 Counsel any team member found performing below the minimum standard required by the job Report and coordinate the same with HR Department26 Recommend & suggest staff for cross-training or promotion for vacant positions in the company27 Motivate subordinates to perform their jobs well and maintain a pleasant working environment for everyone28 Uphold the image and build the reputation of the store by ensuring that the team is following the set SOP of the outlet and the BFL Group policies & procedures29 Ensure that Uniform policy and grooming standard is strictly adhered to by all team members 30 Give verbal warnings to staff found deviating from the set outlet SOP & policies of BFL Group Ensure that the same is reported to HR Department for record purposes and future reference 31 Report & coordinate with HR Department any violation that requires higher disciplinary action32 Schedule staff for vacation (according to eligibility) to ensure that the operation in the outlet is not affected33 Conduct periodic performance evaluation to subordinates Report staff with exemplary work performance and suggest the same for commendation34 Attend meetings and trainings required by management
