Defines and establishes the processes, environments, standards and conventions required for an effective business intelligence solution.Interacts with all levels of business operating unit users and/or business analysts in order to determine business and reporting requirements; develop functional specifications, prepare time estimates and work plans for new data, Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes, and reports as well as enhancements.Coordinates the definition of business views for data subject areas and manages the implementation and maintenance of reporting and analysis applications. Develops and maintains ETL processes, Crystal Reports and Web Intelligence reports. Creates management dashboards that show the status of business metrics as defined by end users.Supports enterprise, ad hoc and OLAP reporting environments. Develops and monitors schedules relating to the daily refreshes of data and report validation and ensures data integrity and accuracy of data loaded.Maintains and adds to the existing Business Objects Universes and works closely with other data warehouse developers to understand dependencies and impact on existing ETL jobs and reports.Works closely with the Data Architect(s) and Application Architect(s) to provide creative, enterprise-scale ETL solutions.Meets with appropriate technical staff, end users, and management to define requirements and develop analytic and reporting solutions which meet end user needs.Leads, coordinates and participates in key process improvements.
