Position Description DREAM BIG As one of the worlds largest fully integrated energy enterprises, Saudi Aramco not only looks for individuals who can meet our expectations but for those individuals who can exceed them Our intent is to become the worlds leading integrated energy company by 2020, and to accomplish our goals, we want and encourage you, to Dream Big The professional rewards at Saudi Aramco are amazing, but so too are the lifestyle and benefits We are currently seeking an experienced [Downstream Strategy Business Development Specialist] to join the Strategy & Business Development Group The successful candidate will join the Strategy & Business Development Group to assist the organization in achieving the assigned objectives in globally developing the business of Pipelines, Distribution & Terminals Responsibilities Include Develop new downstream business strategies, conduct market analysis, and develop new and improved methods Suitable candidate will have 15 years of relevant experience in business development, and have worked in one of leading oil and gas companies (preferably in downstream and distribution) or similar experience The candidate will contribute to the development of the companys business plan, organizational structure, manning levels, etc Develop business cases to help review and create successful investments, marketing and sales strategies and operating policies Manage business development process from screening through deal closure Drive screening and validation activities to progress proposals through stage gates Lead efforts to formulate a resource and funding plans to transform business proposal from concept to a closed deal Lead business planning and economic modeling Determine the scope and objectives of the deal, offering messages and technical solution that make up Saudi Aramcos business offering Provides administrative direction and personnel management to all assigned Business Development Analysts Support the development and rollout of the different related programs Stay abreast of best-in-class practices in the business and recommend improvements Prepare and deliver business presentations as needed Provide training to staff in different areas Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed Minimum Requirements Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or its equivalent Graduate degree is desirable Advanced professional competence evidenced by professional licenses and other forms of continuing professional education Experience 12 years of relevant experience in business development will be highly knowledgeable in business development, will possess relevant industry expertise and will have solid experience in specific venturing activities such as commercialization, spin-offs or joint venturing Language Proficient in oral and written English Some command of Arabic is beneficial but not essential Minimum Requirements Minimum Requirements Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or its equivalent Graduate degree is desirable Advanced professional competence evidenced by professional licenses and other forms of continuing professional education Experience 12 years of relevant experience in business development; will be highly knowledgeable in business development, will possess relevant industry expertise and will have solid experience in specific venturing activities such as commercialization, spin-offs or joint venturing Language Proficient in oral and written English Some command of Arabic is beneficial but not essential Duties & Responsibilities Business Development Specialist will A Manage business development process from screening through deal closure B Drive screening and validation activities to progress proposals through stage gates C Prioritize business proposals against investment criteria and NBD portfolio strategy D Lead efforts to formulate a resource and funding plans to transform business proposal from Concept to a closed deal E Serve as a liaison between NBD and the internal proponent organization F Lead business planning and economic modeling G Determine the scope and objectives of the deal, offering messages and technical solution that make up Saudi Aramcos business offering H Assemble initial offerings to potential investors I Lead investor selection activities J Coordinate with Saudi Aramco subject matter experts to draft Memorandums of UnderstandingLetter of Intent K Participate in creating the commercial, financial and technical framework for the deal L Prepare for and conduct negotiations to secure a deal is consistent with Saudi Aramcos offer, investor expectations and set parameters M Ensures compliance to process stage gates and approvals N Approves contract payments and variations within limit O Provides administrative direction and personnel management to all assigned Business Development Analysts

Saudi Aramcos Refining, Marketing & International (RM&I) business line is responsible for the Companys downstream operations: refining, distribution and marketing. RM&I oversees the operations of the Companys wholly owned refineries and NGL (natural gas liquids) fractionation plants. Additional integrated refining and petrochemical ventures are under study.
