Job Description

To preserve and expand AYTBs market share identifying, developing, and acquiring sustainable business opportunities to support AYTBs short and long term strategies
To lead the companys business development efforts by strengthening relationships with current and prospective customers
To lead and direct and manage sales & marketing, estimating, proposals and contracting personal to achieve the companys business and growth objectives across all business unites
To build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships; attract new business and acquire new customers and key accounts through building customer relationships
Principal ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities
Clarifies goals and reaches agreements whilst maintaining the interests of all parties; proactively develops and improves services and discusses strategic and sensitive issues with the management
Sets sales targets and defines the strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy in a timely manner
Communicates new service developments to prospective clients in addition to establishing and maintaining working relationships
Screening, reviewing and approving all invitations to bid (ITB) and requests for quotations (RFQ) to support business plans
Reviewing, analyzing and managing the development of all technical and commercials proposals, including identifying and mitigating risk
Checking, reviewing and approving all cost estimates Setting pricing strategies including contingencies
Negotiating and closing profitable contracts in line with companys overall objectives
Assisting in the development of annual and multi-year business plans for all business lines
Developing business case studies and justifications for any new business or potential acquisitions JVs
Builds and maintains excellent relationships with colleagues and clients and follows up new business opportunities and sets up meetings
Oversees the development of marketing literature and provides management with market feedback
Researches the industry and related events, publications, and announcements to identify trendsetting ideas and tracks individual contributors and their accomplishments
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, and discovers and explores any new opportunities
Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluates options; resolves internal priorities and recommends equity investments
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations and examining risks and potentials
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations
Protects the companys values by keeping information confidential
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations

Staff Management
Improves the pitch process by providing the relevant teams with a detailed summary of the clients technical and marketing needs in addition to applying previous knowledge and experience
Identifies training needs and organizes related training to be conducted by external agencies or in house for the staff
Identifies hiring needs and coordinates with the HR Department for their fulfillment
Evaluates the performance of subordinates in-line with the company process
