Responsibilities and duties Review project documents to assure that Department Managers and design leads are informed and copied on all design specifics and necessary project related information (ie scope, schedule, budget, specifications) Business unit estimating support Work with the design leads to assure the integrity of project documents is maintained Communicate with design lead engineers and project management to insure changes in scope are carried out Cooperate with engineers and design leads to insure verbally received information is documented and distributed to the appropriate design team members Implement a checking and inter&discipline checking procedure on all project deliverables Technical audits for accuracy and consistency of design documents Interface with project management, discipline engineers and other design coordinators to assure consistency and quality of work Determine projects staff requirements and assignments Evaluating personnel as required

Years of experience: 20Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and has engineering design management experience on mega projects. Coordinates with other functional managers to ensure correct implementation of the project requirements/layouts. Plans, coordinates, and directs the engineering design work and engineering design leads. Has demonstrated experience in plot plan design and work processes. Ensures the efficiency, quality, and performance of the design work to meet project objectives. Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices, methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications. Responsible for obtaining the necessary resources to plan and execute the work.Academic Qualifications: B. Tech Engineering Degree

The combined entity of around 500 people will be a leading in Kingdom engineering & project management services provider, and will quickly execute work under the general engineering services contract (GES+), awarded by Saudi Aramco on 3rd March 2011
