About the BusinessAl-Futtaim Engineering is multi disciplinary engineering organisation which has been operating throughout the United Arab Emirates since 1974 As a member of the Al-Futtaim Group, we enjoy the benefits of being a part of one of the leading business houses operating in the lower Gulf RegionThrough our five divisions, we offer a wide variety of products and services in the construction, commercial and industrial sectors Our involvement in numerous large scale projects in the UAE has given us a wealth of experience From Scaffolding to Elevators and Security Systems to Air-conditioning, Sanityware and Facilities Management, the Al-Futtaim name spells quality & reliabilityDue to the continuous success AlFuttaim Engineering decided to expand operations in EgyptAbout the JobThe following are the key accountabilities of the job* Supervise electrical jobs based on shop drawings and specifications* Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and assess them against the project schedule* Ensure the availability of adequate quantity of electrical material* Provide input to Quantity Surveyor for interim payment applications* Conduct safety tool box lecture to enforce safety regulations for individuals on the site* Raise inspection requests for work completed* Ensure work is executed according to contract specifications, approved design drawings, agreed procedures, and method statements* Implement strict adherence to safety rules and regulations* Reduce the wastage of material and increase manpower productivity* Interact with client and consultant regarding the status of work* Complete necessary quality assurance documentation of work under direct control* Negotiate with client and consultant for obtaining approvals for requested modifications* Update drawings to fit newly approved modifications for As-Built drawings* Check all installations in preliminary stage
