Job Description

An English Editor may report to the Head of English Editorial Department if the position exists within an office or directly to Client Servicing DirectorsManagers or the Group Client Servicing Director and is responsible for writing English editorial content for clients within an office An English Editor should understand the editorial requirements of hisher clients, including specialist vocabulary and terminology, technical, financial and market background Hisher English editorial output should be newsworthy, impactful, accurate, well-written and according to client briefs Heshe is responsible to align English editorial content with Arabic content In the event that an editorial is translated into English from Arabic, it is critical that the translation is accurate and that the final edited version reads as if it has been originally written in English
