Job Description

Prepare strategic project management plans, establish project management processes and procedures, manage consultants, resource planning, risk assessment and value engineering and provide leadership to the project team

Primary dutiesresponsibilities
Preparation of strategic planningprogramming
To define and develop project business strategy, capable of delivering projects in line with fiscal and other constraints of the project
To identify future business opportunities
Prepare and control operational budgets
Establishing in house monitoring and tracking procedures
Preparation of specific development, design and construction programs and allowances for key activities
Monitoring and control of external ConsultantsSpecialists
Major infrastructure requirements
High rise developments
Monitoring and controlling design process
Monitoring and controlling construction process
Resource planning
Risk assessment and value engineering
Claims and impact analysis
Analysis and recommendations on Clause 14 submissions and detailed CP breakdowns
Implement quality management systems requirements related to the Projects and look for opportunities for continuous improvement

Requirements
12-20 years post graduate experience
Minimum 7+ years experience with a renowned contracting firm
Previous experience in a property developer consultancy is an added advantage
Previous Middle East experience is essential
Degree in construction management civil engineering
Handled multiple projects simultaneously, of large scale magnitude, from concept planning to close -out
A comprehensive knowledge of applicable Forms of Contract, their application and administration
An astute commercial awareness and knowledge of controlling substantial Main Contractors and Consultant organisations
Fully conversant with ALL commonly used planning tools and software and in particular Primavera

People with High rise exp is most preferred
